High School Scholarships

About the Program

Our High School Scholarships program is designed to provide talented and deserving students with the chance to pursue their education and achieve their dreams. Education is a powerful tool that can break the cycle of poverty, and we’re committed to making that tool accessible.

Many thanks to Ann and Dan Hoffman of Dubuque, IA, who had the vision and generosity in 2022 to help Gazelle Impact establish a yearly scholarship program for Kinangop-area secondary school students. Currently, the scholarships were awarded to students from financially struggling backgrounds attending St. Michael Faru Secondary School. Support from many others will continue this amazing vision. In creating the scholarship gift, Ann stated, “My own parents had 12 children, and I know they struggled to pay school fees to support our education. However, it was truly a priority for them. If we could make it easier for other parents to educate their children and improve their lives, we wanted to be a part of that on behalf of the Bariki Center.”
